Loch Katrine is one of Scotland's bonniest lochs and a trip to Scotland & The Trossachs would not be complete without seeing it and taking a sail on the loch on the iconic SS Sir Walter Scott (has been providing sailing trips on the loch since 1900) or the smaller MV Lady of the Lake.

Loch Katrine is a GREAT day out. The hills and forests surrounding Loch Katrine are home to many species of wildlife, including Scotland's elusive Red Squirrels. We are the perfect away day location where you can cycle, walk, sail, fish or simply do nothing & enjoy the views from the licenced Brenachoile Cafe or the Stronachlachar Pier Cafe at the far end of the loch.

Jazz on the Loch: In the Autumn months its possible to book to one of the Jazz cruises  that are  part of the annual Callander Jazz Festival. Susan Boyle also used Loch Katrine as the backdrop for her song "A Perfect Day". View her video on You Tube.

Home to Rob Roy MacGregor. Loch Katrine and The Trossachs are incredibly beautiful and full of tales of intrigue & passion. If you only have time to visit one Scottish loch, it should be Loch Katrine.
