If you are touring the area why not visit our sister pub in Arrochar. The Village Inn, Arrochar is less than half an hour away and offers stunning views over Loch Long. I was attending a wedding on Loch Lomond-side and chose to stay the following night at the Tullie. I have been to it's restaurant in the past and had wanted to stay in the "Inn" for sometime. Situated adjacent to Balloch Station the location couldn't be bettered.I was staing on a bed and breakast basis but stayed on in Balloch and had lunch there as well. There was a very warm welcome on arrival and check in was quick and helpful. The whole place has been Refurbished to a very high standard. The bed was very comortable. The room appears to have been a room in the original building but again it was spacious or a B&B with a good size en suite bath/shower and toilet. TV had freeview and allowed catching up with current affairs. Breakfast was served in the glass veranda which was reserved or guests and whilst the weather was poor it was easy to imagine how glorious it would be on a nice day. The breakfast was classic Scottish and of good quality. Lunch was pulled pork with potato skins, delicious. If staying in Balloch a good choice.
